Where Do I Start? Rewriting the Career Stories that Hold Our Growth
Whether you are fresh out of school or exploring a career transition, chances are that you have heard and internalized multiple stories about yourself, what you can do, and the possibilities ahead. Many of these stories undermine what we imagine and envision for ourselves, silently pushing us to play small and safe due to fear and insecurities. Sometimes, the next step in our careers is right in front of us, but we are too caught up in these stories to face it and bet on ourselves.
In this interactive workshop, we will take a closer look at some of these stories and break them apart to understand how the external limitations from our experiences have also fueled internal narratives and what we can do to challenge them. Career development can be daunting when we do not know where to start. But the best starting point is always the same: connecting with yourself.
