About Dr. Analía Gómez Vidal, C.P.C.
Bold moves are built from within. I know this because I built my own path through bold moves across industries and countries. Now I guide you through yours.
I am the founder and CEO of AGV Services LLC. I am a career development expert who works with individual clients, is a thought partner and consultant to higher education and professional organizations, and speaks to and facilitates events with audiences seeking clarity, confidence, and strategy for their next career move. I am known for blending deep empathy with strategic precision and a researcher approach. Through our work together, clients gain language, tools, and a new sense of self-trust to share their stories powerfully and create and pursue new opportunities with purpose.
As a bilingual certified career coach, PhD-level researcher, and facilitator with over 15 years of experience across multiple industries and countries, I bring first-hand insight into the complexities of change, identity, and growth. My clients often describe me as both a soulful coach and a high-level strategist, someone who meets you where you are at and helps you stretch toward your full potential and reach your vision.
A creative writer and improv theater performer, I infuse creativity and joy into every part of my process. I believe that professional growth should feel like an act of self-expression, not self-limitation. In a time of overwhelming change and disempowering messages, I refuse to shrink so my clients feel empowered and prepared to claim and realize their own vision.
My academic and professional training includes a B.A. degree in Economics (minor in Journalism) and a M.A. degree in International Studies from Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Government and Politics from University of Maryland, College Park. I hold a Certificate in Professional Coaching (C.P.C.), an Energy Leadership Index (ELI) Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) and the COR.E Dynamics Specialist in Transitions certificates from the Institute in Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) School. I am also an active member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and of the Applied Improv Network (AIN).
Who We Work With
You are not just looking for a job. You are ready to make the bold move that shapes your life.
We support ambitious, global-minded students and professionals who want to pursue careers that resonate with them, even if they represent uncharted territory. Our clients are:
International and first-generation students and professionals;
Feeling stuck, uncertain, doubtful, or scared about their next step;
Carrying with feelings of shame, guilt, or inadequacy as they built their path;
Navigating career pivots, job searches, or graduate school transitions;
Living and working across cultures, often on student or work visas;
Seeking a career aligned with their values, strengths, and life goals.
Our clients come from a wide range of industries and geographies, but they share one thing in common: They’re ready to build careers that reflect who they are, rather than pursuing what they’ve been told to. Our work together gives them an increased sense of confidence in themselves and what they want, a clear work plan to implement, and an internal transformation that moves them from fear and analysis paralysis to creativity and possibility. They embrace and embody their bold version to realize their vision for their lives and careers.
